FAQ
How long does it take
to complete our rings?
It only takes a leisurely four hours to make your wedding bands
and the whole experience is fun, personal and unique. It is the
perfect way to take time out with your fiancé to do something
special during the otherwise hectic time before your wedding.
Can we take the rings
with us after we have finished?
Yes you can – unless you have arranged for one of our jewellers
to do some additional work such as setting stones or engraving the
rings.
Do you only do plain
wedding bands?
No, because we are a jewellery workshop, any design is possible.
If, for instance, you would like to add precious stones or have
your rings engraved, you would leave your rings behind and one of
our experienced jewellers will complete this for you.
Do we do everything ourselves?
The experience has been set up in such a way that you can do the
entire process yourselves with the close guidance of one of our
expert jewellers, however, if there is any part of the process you’d
prefer not to do, your jeweller would happily do it for you. You
can do as much or as little as you want to – if you just want
to watch, that is perfectly fine too.
Will our rings look ‘home-made’?
No – absolutely not. One of our expert jewellers will be with
you throughout the entire process and will ensure that your rings
will look as good – if not better – than rings bought
in a high quality jewellery shop. In fact, Larsen Wedding Rings
uses traditional handcrafting techniques, which produce better quality
rings than the machine made rings sold in many jewellery shops.
Do you need to have creative
skills to do this?
No experience or creative skills are required as the whole process
is relatively easy. Also, given that each couple has their own experienced
jeweller supervising them throughout the process, the final look
and quality of the rings is uncompromised.
I want my wedding ring
to fit perfectly with my engagement ring – is that possible?
Absolutely. We will ensure that your wedding ring fits perfectly
with your engagement ring even if it is an unusual shape. Depending
on the level of complexity it may involve your jeweller finishing
the ring for you.
Is this a group activity?
No, this is not a group activity. You will do this as a couple at
your own workbench and be assisted by your own dedicated jeweller.
Do you also do other
types of jewellery?
Yes we do, although we would make it for you. Larsen Jewellery supplies
quality diamonds and can create individually handcrafted designs,
including engagement rings, at workshop prices. See www.larsenjewellery.com.au.
