Yellow Gold is a very traditional choice of metal for wedding rings and remains a popular choice.  At Larsen Wedding Rings, we typically use 18ct Yellow Gold, which contains 75% pure Gold and provides the best combination of strength and purity.

Yellow Gold is an alloy of pure Gold and other metals, including Silver and Copper, and can be made in 18ct, 14ct and 9ct, which refers to the amount of pure Gold in the alloy.  Due to the softness of pure 24ct Gold, Yellow Gold is alloyed to increase its strength and wearability.  The colour of Yellow Gold can vary as a result of its Gold content, with 18ct Yellow Gold being a richer yellow colour than 9ct Yellow Gold.  It is also a longer wearing metal than 9ct Gold and is preferable for use in wedding rings.

The range of Gold wedding rings shown on our website is only a small selection of what is possible, and we encourage you to come in and speak to one of our jewellers, who will help you choose a Gold wedding band that is perfect for you.  Whether you choose to make the rings yourselves, or have one of our team of jewellers make them for you, you can be assured your rings will be of the highest quality, and as unique as your relationship.
